Photo of the Day 12

Day 12

Day 12 was November 29th the second to last day of November. I took this picture with the intention of showing how there is no snow! Such a surprise! This time last year and I believe the year before there was tons of snow! It is amazing that the weather has stayed this warm for so long but we do live in Rexburg so it is bound to change soon. Gotta love Rexburg!

Day 11

Well I'm sure you can guess what my first day back from Thanksgiving break was like, lots and lots of homework! It was so nice to have a break and be able to spend the holiday with family but I was hit by the real world when I returned.

Day 10

This is a very silly picture of them but these are my parents and I think it shows their true feelings about me taking pictures of them. I wanted to have a photo of my mom on my blog because I love her so very much and Day 10 just happened to be her birthday, November 27th. I'm so incredibly grateful for her and so lucky to have her!

Day 9

Day 9 was Saturday, November 26th. All day Saturday I was able to spend time with my family and my older sister and her husband. These are all my siblings and myself. I'm so grateful for my family and love them all so much!

Day 8

Day 8 was Thursday, November 25th! Which we know as Thanksgiving! So in honor of Thanksgiving I took a photo of the best part of the big family meal we have every year, the chocolate pie! It was delicious. And helped me gain those few extra pounds for the cold Rexburg winter coming up!

Day 7

As I have mentioned before this is my little brother, Preston. We went swinging late one night and had fun taking silly pictures. The reason I chose to include this photo for my Photo of the Day assignment was because we are always doing crazy things together and just having fun.

Day 6

Day 6 was Wednesday, November 23rd. This is an old country cafe in Boise called Merritts Cafe. In high school I used to go to with my friends. So one night me and my little brother, sister and cousin went to get scones which are probably the best scones I have ever have.

This is my guitar that is left in Boise so I only get to play when i go home. It was fun to be home and play my guitar and hang out with my family.

Day 4

Day 4  was on Monday, November 21st. I was at home in Boise so I was able to spend time with my younger brother, Preston. He is my only brother so I'm always grateful when I get to spend time with him. Because I was able to go home early I was able to go and see him perform in Drama Districts for his high school!

Day 3

This is my house! I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to go home for Thanksgiving break and see my family. I love being able to go home and am so grateful and lucky to have the wonderful parents and family that I do. I am truly blessed and don't know what I would do without all of them.

Day 2

Day number 2 was Saturday, November 19th. Which for BYU football was game day! I am a huge BYU football fan and so is my family. Both my parents went to BYU so I was raised to be a BYU fan. We always have a big party on game day and eat lots of food. Lately I haven't been able to be at home for the BYU football games but I was able to be home for this one. They played and beat New Mexico St. 42 to 7. It was a great day and I'm so glad I got to spend it with my family.

Photo of the Day 1

For my Color Photography class this semester I have to take a photo of something that is important in my life every day for two weeks. These two weeks just happened to be over the Thanksgiving Holiday so I was able to be in Boise for most of it with my family and friends which are my favorite people and the most important things in my life. I hope you enjoy my photos!

DAY 1

The first day was Friday, November 18th. I made these delicious cookies for me and my roommates. They were chocolate chip cookies with oreos inside of them. I'm sure you can tell that I love food and especially chocolate so what is better than oreos and chocolate chip cookies!
